Mr. Anthony Okuyelu, the founder of Fiberlog Nigeria Ltd., established the company in 2006, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and a track record of transformative leadership in the telecommunications and IT sectors. As a seasoned Telecoms Engineer and IT Manager, Mr. Okuyelu has a rich background in creating, developing, and managing startup companies, alongside deep knowledge in Fiber Optics Transmission Engineering and Project Management. His strategic approach to planning and budgeting has been pivotal in shaping the landscapes of various enterprises.

Before founding Fiberlog Nigeria Ltd., Mr. Okuyelu played crucial roles in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), where he led the transition of the IT section into a fully-fledged IT department. His strategic insights provided direction for NNPC’s IT needs, essential for its business development initiatives. His leadership was instrumental in the establishment and operational success of N21 Telecommunications Ltd. and NNPC Telecommunications Ltd. (NAPET), where he served as the pioneer Deputy Managing Director and Managing Director, respectively.

Following his tenure with NNPC, Mr. Okuyelu took on the role of Managing Director at IoT Africa. In this capacity, he spearheaded the deployment of an IoT network, managed the sales of IoT devices, and executed general contracts within the IoT industry. His leadership at IoT Africa further solidified his reputation as a natural leader and innovator in the field.

In 2025, Mr. Okuyelu achieved the FOA CFOT certification with The Fibre Optic Association Inc., further enhancing his expertise in fiber optics technology and reinforcing Fiberlog Nigeria Ltd.’s position as a leader in open-access fiber communication and IoT services.
